I am looking to have a better finish on my cars. At this point, it's been Duplicolor Primer, Duplicolor lacquers, and Duplicolor Clear Coat. I am not ready to spend the money on an airbrush and the next level of equipment; so, does anybody have any experience with USC Icing Polyester Finishing Putty (with hardener)? I was wanting to skim coat my cars with this after sanding. I was thinking of this over bondo.
Any feedback?
Thanks,
Jim

You can use it other than bondo... but don't use it for heavy build up... use bondo first then after you sand the bondo you can skim it out with the Icing.... I like 240 grit dry and sand the entire car with it on your last sanding before primer...

I prefer Evercoat MetalGlaze polyester finish & blending putty,pn#100416.
I feel it sands smoother, less clogging and feathers better. Although not recommended, I've put it on as thick as 3/16" per layer
As with any catalyzed filler, have plenty of ventilation!
Both are good products, availability/price could sway your decision.....
