Hey All, My son and I just mailed in our derby cars to see how we stack up to the pros in the March races. His car is a paint diaster but he won his age group and got 3rd in Championship flight. We have been looking at all the pics on this site and he is freaking out wanting the slick paint jobs you guys have. I just sighed and now have to become a professional car painter. Hello Tye,
My son and I are preparing to mail in his backup car for March's race,it will be running in the stock class,it has an ext wheelbase.
You are right these guys and gals here at PDDR sure do know how to lay the paint ;D.As far as stacking up with the pros,I am looking at taking away dead last from "Fast Racing"the only problem is our car won't look as nice ;D.

Thanks everyone for the warm greetings..
My son and I build very non-traditional looking cars. No glamour, just the imagination of a 9-year old. You guys may get a kick out of the freaky designs we have.

Welcome to the board and PDDR. You might surprise yourself on how well your cars run. Last month I put my cars together at the last minute. I had the cars all done except for the wheels and I hurried and put the wheels on 15 minutes before the race and put a little graphite on and entered them in, I didn't even check the alignment. To my surprise all 4 cars did extremely well.
