Ok, I've been building for about three years now, only for my kids pack races. I stumbled across this site and our speed jumped to light speed thanks to the good advice and tribal knowledge. For the past two years my children have been unbeatable at pack and district races by far. Before I start this years builds I wanted to know if my checklist seems right. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
- Drill front axles 3/32" - Drill back axles 5/32" -At least 3.5 - 3.8 oz. of weight added to the car, (I've used tungsten plates and melted lead. Would a tungsten cylinder be better?) - Lubricate with Hob-e-lube.(would MBs krytox be a better choice, and could it pass as a dry lube?) - Good prepped axles and wheels. - Car height 5/16"
Okay, I think thats my basic template, please critique my list and tell me what you think. Again, any and all suggestions are much appreciated!!!

- Drill front DFW axles 3/32 - Drill front raised axle 4/32 - Drill back axles 5/32

Possibly but maybe 1/4" cubes so you dont need to cut the axles. Can be a big deal on cub cars sometimes...
Plates are fine as well but are not as dense....
- Lubricate with Hob-e-lube.(would MBs krytox be a better choice, and could it pass as a dry lube?)
Hard to get right... Also not a dry lube.
- Good prepped axles and wheels. - Car height 5/16
I am sure others will jump in :-)

Thanks guys, every little thing helps. All four wheels have to touch. I've never made a rail rider before, is there any way to make a rail rider with all fours touching?
