I recieved a call from Walmart.com this morning to tell me that my credit card had been used to make 4 purchases. I then called my credit card company and they advised me that there were several purchases that had been made since yesterday with my card. The first transaction was a purchase from Apple Itunes. I have never made a purchase from apple.
Anyways the only purchases made in the last few days on my card are the hotel I booked, the BBQ I ate, and the gas I purchased. If you stayed at the Country Inn and suites, purchased gas at the Speedway in Richmond, Ky, or ate at Sonnies BBQ in Somerset, Ky. watch your credit card and report anything right away. The only place the card was out of my hand was at Sonnies BBQ.
I have contacted Sonnies and made them aware that my info was taken and that I believe the info was taken from their location, but the manager was less then interested and could not understand how it could happen. I even explained how someone could steal the info in seconds, but she just did not understand. Even after telling her that I was not looking for a refund or anything she just seemed to care less.
If you used your card at one of these places please check your with your card company over the next few days to make sure your info wasn't stolen.

Update,
The owner of Sonnies contacted me and advised he is aware of how these things can take place. He also advised me that he would look into the problem. He wants to make sure his business maintains its reputation for being a place to come and have a good meal.
I am not trying to put any place of business down as the owners of these businesses do not want this type of problems, it only hurts their business. I am posting this to protect my friends and fellow racers from being scammed. It just happened to me and with my 15 years of law enforcement background, they just picked the wrong guy to try and scam.
If you are not aware of how this can be done then please read more on how to cards are duplicated by scammers

Glenn,
They were unable to get any money from me because I quickly took care of it, but wanted to make sure no one else had there card info stolen. I hope everyone is vigilant in keeping there info safe, and beating those who try and steal their info!
