I've been managing a baseball team, working and mowing grass. I'm trying to find time to build my new cars.

Been busy here too. I went in to the office last Monday to learn my middle manager position was eliminated. Yeah, it blows but the good news is they have room for me as a worker bee. Get to keep my pay scale but loose some of the other benefits. Could be worse, right? So I've been trying to learn my new job this past week. Shouldn't take long to nail it down. On the fun side of things, I'm working on a couple car ideas. Couldn't finish my stocker for May, so maybe next time. I really want to run in pro mod. I hope to order the axles/bearings this week. Sorry, no pics to share yet. Well, I can post some old ones, anyway. Some of you may remember the black and natural car I showed you where I used a vacuum bag to glue the top on. I was at a local Scout race and ran it against my Barracuda II (that ran PS last Month) and it was a whisker faster. They both run 91's but the wheels are different. Barracuda runs Edge PS 'ers and the other are BSA out of the box. I think we can all agree 24g paint ain't the way to go ...

I've helped organize a District Pinewood Derby race the past few months. It is going to be the first annual for our district. After reading some of the stories about District Races, the committee and I wanted to make sure all the bases have been covered. Looks like we are going to have about 150 Scout's attend the race. Everyone has worked really hard, I'll be glad when it is over. Hopefully I will hit the track again in June. I have a lot of catching up to do!

ACME So what kind of team you got? They gonna make it? Donnelson The car looks pretty interesting. You should lay out how you did it. The same gut that laid out my world famous 24g paint job says he knows a guy that can paint 'chrome' and wants me to try it. I wonder if you guys are doing the same process? He said it's kind of like the way mirrors are made ...

Besides working normal stuff 9-10hrs a day as a project planner, designing/planning/coordinating to provide electrical service to a 8 mega watt chicken processing plant, son's baseball games, daughter's concerts, church vice moderator, member of pastoral search committee, family weddings, graduations, father, ATM machine for my 16yr old, husband, and general "honey do s"............NOT much of anything.
I am flying to Little Rock this weekend to celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday. I hope I live that long and still be able to walk across the room to the bathroom by myself without diapers!!

Ed How do you manage to keep it all together - or do you? Sounds like you're over committed- or you need to be ... Funny how it adds up when you list it all out. Kinda like the "cost of a Mom" where they make a million $ a year. Congrats to 'Pops'. That would be my wish too.

Wood butcher...Let me know who's paying a cool Million to be a Mom. I'm gettin' jipped. I have been trying to buy my second real estate property in the last 30 days and am having a time with all the paper work that is involved. I need a secretary/servant to help me out so I can hang out in the shop and play with my pinewoods.

The last two months have been crazy. There has been something planned for every weekend. Either dance competitions, Scout campouts, Scoutmaster training, graduations, class reunions and probably some stuff I have forgotten. I have had absolutely no time at all to tinker, test or tune anything . Things are finally getting back to normal. I have been able to squeeze in a new Pure Stock build ;D "The Nuge". He's going to Wang Dang your Sweet Poontangs. Going to try and put a Stranglehold on the Pure Stock class. ;D I can't wait to see him Wango Tango down the track.
