I am building a pure stocker to enter soon. I was hoping for March, but see there is not a pure stock class. I might send it to East Coast. Or just test it in the Stock class. My son and I built a car for the first time in December. Did almost everything wrong (wheelbase backwards and little room for weights). Got lucky with the weight placement (zinc plate and rounds) and really tried to make up for design errors with wheels (Bought them mold matched and cnc'd round) and polished the heck out of the BSA axles. Used a straight alignment. Long story short - too late - we finished 4th out of 80 cars. Lost by an average of 0.015 per run. the track was 32 feet (I think) and wooden. Our average time was 2.8495. I am hoping to improve and have tried to incorporate as many speed tips as I can into the new design. Using a standard block with standard slots for now. Have a set of pure stockers coming and a mounting tungsten weight just in front of the axles inlaid under the car. Not sure what to call it - thinking maybe Mango Tango. Attachments:

Throw your wheels on it and send it in tomorrow. It will still make it priority mail. Stay up all night if you have to. Even stay home from work in the morning. ;D Really - do it!
