Anyone know the minimum cant needed for the wheels to migrate to the axle heads? What is the drill bit size needed to get that cant with the block? Trying to build a new mod. Thanks, Keith

Don't Know. However I can let you know how to figure this out.
The tighter the axle / bore clearance the less cant needed.
Take a practice block and drill rear holes every 1/4" or so...
Canted 2.5 2.0 1.5 1.0
Somewhere someone posted what size drill bit to use for what degree of cant.
Place the wheels into the body and role the car forward.
Place the wheels into the body and role the car backwards.
The wheels should roll away from the body.
Then you will know, given your wheel/axle combination, where the minimum is...

Thanks I will have to try the test block trick.
I have been using a 3/32 bit and that's close to a #42.

a 42 for regular size axles? I'm used to using a 44, but if the 42 is prefferable, I will give it a shot

This is for under the block when drilling.... And then only for a modified. Not a BSA wheel car...
