Anybody know anything about old power tools? I got a old Rockwell delta scroll saw for free the other day but it needs a few parts. it is in great shape. I will try to get some pics later. I just wondered if it is worth spending the money on it to get the parts. I think it was made in the 50s or 60s. Its a model 40-440. It has a three phase motor on it so that will need replaced. If any of you guys know anything about these old saws let me know.

I use to fix them up about 15 years ago... Glenn

Cowboys and Indians anyone? I found most of the parts to fix this old thing. Some were used and some were new. all and all it cost around 100 bucks for everything. I found a old 50 year old motor out of a furnace that works OK.I have been cutting up every scrap of wood I can find just to get everything lined out with it. This old thing will cut some pretty big stuff.
