Reso,
The closest I have is ¾ inch discs from roadrunner but I have never built a car with them... I usually use the 1" diameter discs as they have a lower profile...
In 3/4" diameter I have:
3.84 oz. 25/32” high 4.15 oz. 13/16” high

There is a couple of places with 3/8dia x 7/16 long cylinders. Would that work?

There is a couple of places with 3/8dia x 7/16 long cylinders. Would that work? I used the 3/8" on a recent build, I'm running that car in the July race. I liked the build process with those a lot. They are a bit more flexible than a single 1" round. Depending on how this car runs next week I may just buy a stock length from an online supplier (kind of pricey). Thanks for the replies

Reso,
Barstock Tungsten is somewhat difficult to machine... Do you have a method for cutting it?

I've never worked with Tungsten before. Can you cut it with a band saw with a metal blade?
Update
**** just spoke to a few local machine shops about cutting tungsten, I'll stick with the 3/8" cyclinders. ******

You can use a bench grinder to take a little weight off. Work slow. It get's real hot quick too. Dip it in water often. Most people don't have anything that will cut the tungsten.

If I remember correctly, DocB had good luck cutting tungsten with a dremel and a diamond cutting wheel, lemme see if I can dig it up...
