whats good for removing adhesive left behind from a paint stencil & not mess up the paint job

Orange oil cleaner or mineral spirits (paint thinner). I would try a small area first. If it takes it off then follow up with some soap and water.

whats good for removing adhesive left behind from a paint stencil & not mess up the paint job When I get done using a stencil ... I use my fingures like and eraser and rub off the stuff... then I use fast evaporating wax and grease remover.... then your ready for clear coat...

I would stay away from oils...... unless your done and that is your finished product..... even then I just dont like the sound of oil and paint on the same plate ;D No hard feeling ACME <------

No problem. Nothing hurts my feelings. My kids an I thought the crash was awesome! That didn't hurt either.
