Here a couple of pics of 2 cars I'm trying to get ready for next week. This will be my first entry into proxy racing, so be gentle with me. This is Captain Slow for the Pure Stock class: And Misbehaving for the Modified class:

I like them both, good clean lines, you should do well in both races. Looks like the June Pure Stock race is going to have a big freshman class, including myself. Good luck azgreg!

We'll the cars are in the mail. However, there is a replacement for the blue one. Testing was pathetic, and once you see how slow the rplacement is you will understand why the blue one did not end up in the shipping box. I don't believe either of my 2 entries will be fast, but I need a baseline to judge future entries by. I'm looking forward to this weekends race. Where can I find direction on watching the race and particapating in the race chat?

at the bottom of the home page, you will see pddr tv. click on it and then you are ready to go. you will want to download yahoo chat, everyone gets together in a yahoochat room and chat, they have live audio chat on there also. be sure to let us know what your yahoo name is so we can send an invite.
love the cars, and i love the name captain slow. awesome how did you ever get them to weight 5 ounces, they are wicked thin.

Thanks for the info chunks. The blue one WAS 3/8" thick and the orange one is 1/4" thick. I used 3/16" tungsten cubes from Max Velocity (it's nice having a pinewood supply shop just 15 minutes from my home).
