Has anyone ever cut & run a car with the nose of the car 45 degres upwards like the hull of a boat? I guess the advantage would be of the starting line.
Has any one run stock on a 35 foot best track alum track , I'd like to compare times my best has been 2.608.00 and can't get much better no matter what I try.

Thanks, I guess i'll cut a new car, and thanks for the thread I guess i'm not to far off with 3 more feet to run. I do believe those times would be for the 35 foot track, even though the thread says 32. The BestTrack sections are 7 feet, so if Glenn removed one section, it would be a 35 foot track. When comparing times, make sure you have your slope set to the same angle as the PDDR track, which is 27.1 degrees.

I just checked it with my angle finder and it's at 25.5 I will adjust a bit , and as for the length I have three 7'sections not counting the curve and the start section it's right at 32' , but the electronic finish is 9'' before the end of that 7'length. So I guess it's 31.3.

Yep, that'll be the 35 foot track - they include the stop section in the overall length. Do you have the new or the old curve section? The new curve is about a 4 foot section, the old is a 7 foot section. It has about 4 feet of flat track after the curve. PDDR uses the new curve.

Actually it's 3'.4 '', so I guess it's the old. Last years model 2 lane with the fast track timer . I raised it to 27.1 and ran a 2.512 . But I'm still getting faster times on both of my cars with the quick start nose, It still seems to help . I'm running stock wheels ,axles and original axle groove provided with the kit to comply with the local rules.
Thanks for the help!

No, that's the new curve....the old one is just a 7 foot section with one end curved up. Just keep tuning, send it in to PDDR and have fun!
