What's up ya'll, I am new to the site, my uncle Dennis ( cam-car racing ) told me about it, and helped me build my sons first derby car that dominated his scout derby, and I have a bit of the bug right now.
I am considering a car design for a car that I may enter in the stock race coming up, and wanted to get some oppinions on the 4th wheel placement. Uncle D has cars that have both the 'embedded' wheel design and the 'slolom' ( is that how you spell that?) design. Has one design proven to be faster? What have you guys had success with?
I realize that these are trade secrets that perhaps no one but unlce D will empart to the new comer, but I have been impressed with your willingness to help each other, despite the competitive nature of derby racing.
Thanks in advance for any advise......
Jess
