It may have been covered here before but I can't seem to find it so I'll ask. If I want to paint a tungsten round, do I need just a good coat of primer before I paint it? I was able to polish up the one I have in Brisingr to a mirror finish, but the one I'm putting in a new Pure Stockr didn't do as good. I got it to a nice shiny look but it's not the mirror finish I was hoping for. I'm thinking of painting it.

Sand it down really good with 320... then use some etch primer for bare metal... you can get some in spray can at your local body shop supply store... Wipe it with wax and grease remover and dry completly... let the primer dry for 15-20 minutes then you can go ahead with your sanding primer coats...
