Just wanted to show some cars I have built and get some input. The arrow on the bottom car points forward. ;D

I'm not sure on the first car, which is the front and which is the back. If the open end is the front, then there is nothing there to break the timing beam as it crosses the finish line. Also, where do you have room to put your weight?
They are both nice looking cars, though. Good job.

Each car has won the open class races that they have run in at various scouting events. The top car won by an average of over a foot across all races. The bottom car was intended to be an exercise in aerodynamics. It does run a little front heavy but all the weights are in the back 2" of the car so it balances out fairly well. The main problem with the A-frames is warpage. I never seem to know what is going to happen until I get it cut. Tried to get the back end details a little better here.
