Was working on a new Pure Stocker the last few nights, trying to get it ready for this next race. I was playing around with weight distribution, and superglued a tugnsten plate to the bottom of this car. I didn't think I used that much, and it would be easy to remove if needed, well I need to move it and I CAN'T GET IT OFF!
I don't want to destroy the car, as it has some potential, it is sub 3 speed, but only if I can move this weight.
Any ideas how to soften the glue so I can get it off?

If you can hold the body stable try a large flat blade screw driver up right against it and smack the blade with a sharp blow from a hammer. I have done this in the past and the glue remained on the body but the tungsten was clean. If not acetone on a q-tip could work but be careful of your paint.Good Luck

Heating the plate with a hair dryer on high, then tap it or acetone has worked well for me. Good luck My Brother !!

I heated a tungsten round with a small propane torch and it came right off. Took about 2 seconds.
