I understand that the rules right now do not allow for Derby Worx Pro SS wheels in your stock class. As there might not be anymore racing with PWD and many of the racers from the league looking for a new home. Is it possible for a rules change to allow the wheels?
The reason I bring this up is I will be looking for a new place to race and with the cost of wheels, I do not have another $100 or more dollars to put out for 3 or more new sets of wheels. I am sure there will be others just like me as the stock class at PWD always had a lot of cars.
This is just a thought and a way to bring some of the stock racers over if PWD does not do proxy racing any more.

It races next month. Send in a pure stock car next month as well, we are trying to get 50+ cars on the track next month in this division.

I understand that they would be allowed in the super stock class, but that would put nail axles against needle axles. I think I know how that would turn out.

I am sure they would let you run it down the track Evolution, you just may not qualify for any points.

However, I am strongly[/b][/i] against mid season rule changes. PDDR has led the way in "specialty" races. Ranger Shootout, Ebay races etc. Perhaps if enough interest is shown then PDDR race officials may accommodate other type cars. HR66 & SS wheels come to mind. That's my , your opinion may vary........ That means you would only need a set of wheels for one car. "Derby Worx Pro SS" wheels are not Stock. They are a Heavly Modified piece of Derlin Pastic to imitate a Stock wheel. Your more than welcome to race against the other competitors in the Stock Class to see how you compare for no points. Love to have you join in on the Action...

Well you are right about one car per builders name. The reason I got into the racing was because of my son. We build several cars at once because you have my son, wife, and me. This is a family activity for us. That is why I would be needing several sets of wheels.
I do not believe that there is much difference in speed between the Pro SS wheels and 1 gram BSA wheels. The 1 gram BSA wheels are highly modified too.
I am just looking for a place to race. I want someplace that is going to be around for a long time and I can have fun with my son.

Evolution... thank you for wanting to race here... we want you to come and join in in the fun... the stock class was designed to build a kit car from the kit using the wheels that are provided in the kit... yes the SS wheels are about the same speed. but they are not kit wheels... yes the 1 gram BSA wheels are very modified but that is the beauty of it taking a stock BSA wheel and modifying it to 1 gram is awesome and still making it look like it is stock from the out side, it was a challenge, but jewkes engineering had these wheels back in 1984 we made our first sets and introduced them to the public feb 06 . now everyone can have the 1 gram BSA wheels... These are the rules for the year and it would not be fare to change the rules 1/4 stream... Here at PDDR we will be here for awhile giving you A Place to Race with Super video coverage also live feed with Speed TV spectators view to watch live on race day... Racing against the Top Builder's in the Nation... We are committed to the racers because we are racer's and we know what it takes to build these cars and how much time you put into them... I treat your cars like they are my own... I hope to see you at the races... Thank you Glenn

The 1 gram BSA wheels are highly modified too. Yes they are in this Class, that is what this class was designed for. Like I mentioned earlyer, your more than welcome to send your cars in and race for no points with the SS wheels... Sell your SS wheels and buy some Kit wheels... I'm sure you can find a way. Others do it.
