I have found what I have been looking for. It is called reel magic and you can find it at wally world in the fishing section.I used it on a car that I painted with dupli color spray paint and it didnt softn the paint at all.it took all the graphite off not just most but all.

It is used on fishing reels and fire arms as a lube and it is suposed to extend the life of your fishing line.it is in a spray can.I could not believe that it took it all off without a trace.

The only problem I would say with this since it is in a spray can is that it can possibly get onto the wheels/axles and intermix with the lube if spraying directly onto the car. Some spray can stuff has a propellant or carrier, like alcohol or some other chemical. Is there an ingredients list?

Yes don't spray it on the car.find a clean soft cloth an spray it on that.then rub it off.it is used on monofilament and braided fishing line so I don't think it would hurt your wheels. It does leave a dull film behind but that is the lube and it will wipe off.

OK
i bought some "ice" synthetic polish for my jeep ( my baby ) no white residue !
used some on my stock car (great shine ! )
removed residual graphite with zero effort !
