Where would I find some bigger diameter Axles? The rules for the Pure Stock class says I can use axles from size .084 - .096, but the biggest I've seen are like .088. I need a bigger axle because there is to much play between the axle and wheel. Can you guys help me out . Also what about MB4Hire axles, or Jewkes axles, are they bigger?

You could try an Awana axle, they are around 0.092" in diameter. I use them in Pure Stock, Stock and on Slammrs. As for LA's and the Jewkes axles, I have no idea on the diameter. I am however going to give them a try.

A standard BSA axle is .086 diameter Awanas axles are .092 diameter Nickle speed axles are .087 diameter I believe MBs/Jewkes are close to the .087 may be a little larger never measured them. I have some of MBs I can measure tonight unless John or Glenn or David can verifiy the diameter. Some classes you can use drill rod or drill blanks. You can get those in any size you want. www.drillblanks.com or www.fastenal.com. You can get Awanas axles at www.maximum-velocity.com. Also, PineCar axles are .0935(3/32). Those are available at hobby stores or even HobbyLobby. Scott Beakerboys Scott Beakerboys

"we can help with any of these axles..."
Does that mean that I can send you a set of axles of my choosing and you will notch or lightly polish them for a fee?
If so, can I send you a set of wheels and have you machine and make them race ready for a fee?
