Went to a Pinewood Derby race yesterday at BYU College campus any was welcome to race... The rules used in the race were the ones that come in the BSA kits. We looked at the track and seen some of the cars on it and they were crashings due to bad joint set up... Also the stopping section was a little wore out and some of the cars were going off the end onto the floor. So we elected not to run the car in the race cause we didnt want the car to get damaged. We asked the guy in charge if we could run the car after the race all by itself to see how fast it can go. They had a timer on the track. I think the track was a 50 ft aluminum 6 lane. The top 2 cars of the day were running 3.72's - 3.76's In this video you will see what our car ran...
