All right guys
Eruption is my first needle car and I need some help on how to get the needles to stay put. I have 3/32" holes front and back. I have 3/32" brass rod running through the body and then another smaller brass rod running through that one. The needles fit perfectly inside the smaller rod. I tried to crimp the smaller brass rod around the needles. It holds OK but not solid enough. It holds until you start trying to make slight adjustments and then it lets loose. I'm going to make two new sets of brass rod axles and try gluing or epoxying the needles in. Anybody have any better suggestions?

epoxy doesn't work as well as "lock nut" if you are gluing metal to metal. Use the permanent type and let it set up before you try attaching wheels etc.
Good Luck
