Week of May 23  God does not want us to merely exist. He desires for us to live a life full of excitement, and that comes when we surrender to Him. Learning humility, which comes as a result of the pain that we face, builds our character. No problem is going to stop God's plan for you. Every day, we have a choice to look at our problems, either as blessings or challenges. Love needs to be our guiding motivation in everything we do. Week of Jun 27 We are commanded by Jesus to be witnesses to those who are lost. The bottom line is that we can't be an effective Christian unless we are winning souls to Christ. We, who have heard the good news, and experienced freedom through Christ, are responsible to proclaim it to others still enslaved by sin. Week of Jul 4  From the beginning, the challenges our founding fathers faced were for the simple purpose of enjoying the privilege of worshiping our Heavenly Father, and not being bound by a state religion. Our sole dependence, by word of the founding fathers, was upon God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The America that our earthly fathers believed in was one that acknowledged God. There was a sense of worship that related to honoring God in most all faiths. We must return to relying on God and not on governments or earthly leaders. America's founding fathers knew this and created the greatest country on earth ! God Bless America [/size][/center]

Week of Jul 11 The language of faith is not please, but thank you. When we give thanks to God in every situation, change happens. Perhaps the greatest change is inside us. We begin to notice our blessings - even the small ones. Hope flourishes. Perspective sharpens. We can see more clearly what's truly important - what needs to be done. We all meed mercy, Because we all
stumble & fall and require help getting
back on track. We need to offer mercy
to each other and be willing to receive
it from each other.
Many are reluctant to show mercy because
they don't understand the difference between
trust & forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting
go of the past. Trust has to do with future behavior.
Forgiveness must be immediate,
whether or not a person asks for it.
Trust must be rebuilt over time.
If someone hurts you repeatedly, you are commanded
by God to forgive them instantly, but you are not
expected to trust them immediately & you are not
expected to continue allowing them to hurt you.
Sometimes we hurt each other intentionally and
sometimes unintentionally, but either way, it
takes massive amounts of mercy & grace to
create and maintain fellowship.

Week of Oct 3 Real servants pay attention to needs. Servants are always on the lookout for ways to help others. When they see a need, they seize the moment to meet it. When God puts someone in need right in front of you, He is giving you the opportunity to grow in servanthood. We miss many occasions for serving because we lack sensitivity and spontaneity. Great opportunities to serve never last long. They pass quickly, sometimes never to return again. You may only get one chance to serve that person, so take advantage of the moment ! ;D ;D ;D [/size][/center]
