I've never been competitive in the bearing class, but what speed gain I've made has been due to moving more weight further back. I'll have to see if even more aggressive COg will be beneficial. Is anyone using altenate bearings ; ie ceramics?

I get my bearings from McMaster Carr. I think they are an Abec 5 roller bearing. I am very new to the bearing car world. So I will give u what worked for me. For starters the new smaller wheels are a huge benefit. My Cog is aggressive but almost dead even centered when put on the scales (back wheels put on two scales). Luck is also a good thing to have!

Thanks, Hogan. I'll try some of those bearings.

Good tip Hogan! Bearing class is not my favorite, but I'd like to get into this class and be competitive. There is a lot to learn.
