I'm building mt first car and using tungsten cubes and have a couple of questions. What is the best way to secure the cubes? Also, the car weight is .79 painted. Is there a target weight for the basic car painted? The body is 5/16 thick and is flat.

If you would like to reuse them then get some aluminum foil duct tape and tape them in the pocket underside. Tape them all together first, stick them in the pocket then tape over them. The tape is very thin and very sticky. Make sure the wood is clean and free of dust before you stick. Also when you put the cubes in the pocket make sure it's a tight fit this will aid holding them in when doing this method. Just in case the car does not perform how you wish this way you can reuse the cubes without destroying the car. 5 minute epoxy if you want to glue them in works great but you will not be able to remove them very easy. Make sure you are completely ready before you mix the epoxy, also if you use masking tape and cover the areas that you wish not to get any epoxy on that will help the clean up process. Note: wear rubber gloves when using epoxy very sticky. Also don't use mamma's kitchen table for a work bench when doing this you might be sleeping out side for the night. I'm sure there a other ways but these work pretty good.

Thanks for the great advice. Where have you been able to fine the aluminum tape? Lowes or Home Depot and probably any hardware store. It ranges from $4 - 8 dollars a roll and it has many good uses around the house as well.
