I saw that Glen had mentioned about Paint Ninja coming out with a DVD. Is it available or is it non-existent? I would be interested in getting it.
Thanks!

I would assume this DVD could be titled: “How to use automotive paints and an airbrush”.
Which IMO is the only way awesome paint jobs are achieved. I’ve spent a lot of time talking to the guys at the nearby Street Rod Shop, so I have some knowledge on this subject. I’m willing to post the required steps, cost, and the HOK products I used if anyone is interested.
On a side note I did figure out how to eliminate the under-bleeding that occurred on my April PDDR entries (on the stencil graphics) and as long as you don’t drill your tungsten after you paint you won’t inadvertently melt the paint on the opposite side of the tungsten…

I 2nd the motion for a DVD on this topic!
Those of you who know how to do it should post it as well. I have no experience with airbrush, but I do have with siphon feed and gravity feed HVLP guns for automotive.
Thanks in advance!

Wow! Those cars are amazing! The House of Kolor process and paints, I'm going to summarize, can absolutely produce those kind of results. I'll put together a summary of the process, materials, tools, and costs involved. I already started by taking a few pics last night, and I'll get this done this weekend. It's amazingly simple and really doesn't take any super special skills to get awesome results. Now if your going to challenge the Paint Ninja to a battle, I hope you have some good creative and artistic skills because that part I can't help out with... -Jason

I doubt anyone is anxiously awaiting my follow-up post on my painting procedure, but I did want to post an update that it's taking longer to type up than I thought it would, I have a 5 page document (with pictures) so far, and still have about a page to go. It's not really all that complicated, but I've tried to present a complete summary. I think I'm going to have to post it on google docs and provide a link since it ended up being so long.

I used to have to write documentation for various things/jobs/duties at a couple of jobs a long time ago. They had to be written as if someone had no idea about anything.
That is so much harder than you would imagine, so I understand you pain ;D

I doubt anyone is anxiously awaiting my follow-up post on my painting procedure Jason, I, for one, am very much looking forward to this. You can email it if that makes it easier. Bless you man for your efforts! Cygnus
