I'm building a car and the weight limit for the class I will be racing is 7 oz. My question is will the needle axles handing the weight without bending? My concern is the amount of G force's that is generated at the curve just before the track goes straight bending the axles. My next question is what is the best way to stop the car so it doesn't hit the end of the track. Sand paper on the bottom of the car maybe?
Only reason I'm building the car for 7 oz is, any lighter and I'll be at a disadvantage. Also, if I can't use a rider can I just use a fourth wheel?
Thanks

I've built them up to 8 oz. for R/A unlimited class using needle axles. As long as the stop section on the track you will be running on is gentle on the cars, you should be fine. A 5 oz needle car on a bad stop section will break just as easily as an 8 oz. car.
