here it is, my june entry, the one on the right (lighter blue) is the entry, the other one was my practice car, to make my mistakes on. my next step is to attempt to put a white stripe down the car. if it works ill do it to the real car. the practice car has been painted several times over until i thought i could do it better, it has had the axle holes filled and redrilled, i know the alignment is off but i think i got it all corrected for the final car. questions, should the white stripe go down the entire length of the car, or start where the tip of the indention is at making a rounded point, then going down the back of the car. also what should i name, i was thinking sub zero but is that too close to sub 3.

How about "Blue Crush"? It looks like you have a lot of time in those two bodies. Nice work! I'm getting kind of scared I won't beat you! Better slow your car down some! LOL no really!

the truck is next, i know its going to be duelly however i havnt desided on a late model truck or a 30s model truck. and if im going to have a truck bed or open frame. still in the prethought stage. i may even redo the trailer. i threw this one together real quick and i like it well enough to do it better and more detailed.

i am very discouraged. i tiled the trampolene and used it as a track and periwinkle isnt quicker than streak. infact, it can barely beat - o-range which is the orange wedge in my trailer pick. i think the alignment is way off. one side of the rear wheels is canted more than the other.
here are the differences, streak has a more distributed weight where periwinkle has all the wieght over the rear axle, streak has 2.5 bend in axles were periwinkle is canted a bit more maybe twice of streak. would having it canted that much more be better or worse. streak is running heavier wheels. streak has more surface area on the axles than periwinkle. infact periwinkle has minimum surface area. would that be bad or good. anyways im just babbling and a bit frustrated. i thought for sure periwinkle would be quicker.
however the good news. i have a track i can test the cars on. no time but against each other.

pulled axles on periwinkle. i hope this is it, but i either i bent it pulling it out or the axle got bent pushing it in. i might have made the grooves too deep weakening the axle. i dont think im going to groove the axles or maybe make them more shallow, how deep does it really need to be not to touch the wheel.

question -
i am shipping all the cars in one box, do i need to send the $4.50 for each car to ship back or the amount it cost to have the cars shipped to you?
