There is going to be a big race coming soon.... For all you guys that wanted to see who's who on eBay... 6 top selling eBay Derby Cars builder's will be in the race... 1 car from each builder that was sold on Auction from eBay. The race will be held on 2 different types of tracks. 1st track is a 42' 3 lane Aluminum Best Track. The race will consist of 6 runs, 2 in each lane with timer. Total 6 run Average wins. 2nd Track is a 45' 4 lane Wood Track. It has a less of a slope than the Aluminum track. It has 2 eight foot straight sections for the down hill then a 2 foot curve section, then 3 more eight foot straight sections. Well the show so far is worth every cent I paid to witness this!! I'll have to admit the suspence is killing me. Do all the contestants have light wheels or only some and if so, which ones? I noticed one advertises Nyoil lube - any others? Can any of these cars beat your new door slammer?
The only thing missing from the video was "to be continued"...........

I agree......it would be worth paying admission to see the results. I believe that all of these cars would fit the category of pure stock - therefore no lightened wheels.

i just receive and email from revmari and i would like to share it all with you.Just to let you know that I removed one rear axle to see how the axles looked. it was not deburred on the head, so I push it back into the same place... there was no damage too the car... If rev would like to redeem him self he is more than welcome to come live or ship another car and see how it would compare again... because we have nothing to hide... Thank you Glenn

One comment about the fairness and honesty of PDDR. Most of those who have participated in any of the races have found that if anything the Jewkes brothers try to make your car perform at it's best. I have personally had help in alignment and lessons tuning and lubing from Glen. I don't think Glen is capable of touching a car to "slow" it down but rather only to correct little errors to make it run better - it's just in his nature - it's like a well known painter damaging a classic work of art - it just won't happen.
I do know that a lot of racers (me included) hate to see people waste their money to purchase a car on the Internet that they probably could beat themselves if they would do a bit of homework in the process of building a car. Just as "money can't buy me love" I see no satisfaction in purchasing a car for my son to race and representing it as my work. Is winning all we are about? I enjoy winning but I wouldn't feel good about winning with someone else's efforts.
So to those who would buy a derby car "caveat emptor" or let the buyer beware!
