2016 Xtream PS rules say that wheel covers if used need to be clear so the wheel does not need to be removed to tech it.
Are air deflectors that are attached to the body in the wheel cavity considered a wheel cover? Do they need to be clear? What about wheel axle weights or washers? They appear to be legal but they are not clear.

the ari deflectors in front of or behind the wheels do not have to be clear. if you use wheel weights that cover the entire inner wheel this would not be clear to see inside the wheels, so they would not be legal. it is the inner wheel covers and outer wheel covers that are used that need to be clear plasice to see the wheels inside letters and out side letters, if you have a wheel weigth that is only covering half of the wheel on the top half or the bottom half then I gusess that would be ok as long as I can rotate the wheel and see the inside of the wheel letters and numbers, a small hole to try and look through in a wheel weight will not be legal.
I hope this helps,
Glenn

Thanks for the clarification. When will the new XPS wheels be available on the JE website?
