Guys I am having problems getting Xstream pure stock car to push the front dominate wheel off the car body. I am using the sg 91 axles prebent and cut for the screw driver adjustment. I have a few of these and have tryed them all thinking it may be the axle not allowing the wheel to get to the nail head. They are all doing it. I have tried putting bent axles in the rear to help steer the front but that does not seem to help either. The car is running on a 32' Freedom track and I have never had this issue before. The car makes the zip sound from riding on the edge of the front wheel and is very stable from start to finish. There is no indication of wooble. I just cant seem to get this front wheel to stay off the body. I have tuned it for 3/4" steer over 6 feet all the way up to 6" steer at 6 feet. Needless to say I am stumped. Im thinking maybe I do not have a straight axle hole in the front. I used the Block and my Proxxen table drill and I use that short no walk #44 bit and then used the vise drill to finish it with a #44 bit. Have any one of you every had this happen to you?

If the car is set up correctly the front wheel when riding the rail the wheel will be pushed to the axle head... rolling the car on the table isn't the same as going down the track. Tables or tune boards don't use center guide rails to make this affect happen. You will get it soon, all it takes is a little adjustment

Well I am using my 32' freedom track. And I only made reference to the tuning board as it is what I use like everyone else to see how much turn the car has. I think I have a issue with the SG91 axle. That the steers the car. I found that the orange wheels I got from you the other day are hanging up on the groove next to the axle head. I have to press the nail in farther to prevent this but the wheels inner hub still tracks to and stays on the car body during the trip down the track. The car is running 2.465 to 2.454 but I need 2.445's. I am using a spacewalker body shim in this area so I am sure it is helping with the friction issue but I want the wheel on the nail head.

Why would you think it is the axle... with the axle at a positive cant it will always move to the body of the car. the rears are at a neg cant and they move to the head of the axle, the front dom is set at a poss cant and it will move to the body... you said you bent the rear axles to try and adjust the steer... wrong thing to do... that is what the block is for... drilling the axle holes straight and parallel with each other... all my set up's on my cars, the front dom will hit the body it is what it is... when did you get the 91sg axles i have not had them for 2 seasons. are you talking about the 91sga axles? thank you Glenn

Yes I ordered the wheels from you guys web site jewkes. Talked to david on the phone before the order about color options. I bought the 91sg two years ago. And I was thinking the dominate wheel was supposed to ride the nail head too. I guess I miss understood. So I put a heavy coating of ___ graphite on the front dominate wheel bore and ran it again. Got 2.447 seconds next run 2.448 next run2.450 next run 2.458 and it just keeps slowing down. I was thinking it should stay down under 2.450.

The reason for the slow down is 2 things. 1st the out side of the wheels could be dirty... clean the out side of the wheels. 2 the 91 sa axle do not hold graphite as well because there is no groove... when you first lube the wheels it will be the fastest on first and second runs then it will slow down about .01 - .015 and should maintain that for a bit... let me know how it works.... glenn

I am using the ___ zero Friction. I guess I am mistaken about what axles I am using. I am using the 91SGA with a grove and one polished and bent with the Groove in the head. I would like to see this car drop down even further to like a 2.435 or something like that. Just dont know if it is posible. 2.447 would be fine if it would just repeat.
