Next year, the Sub-3 club should be broken down into 3 sections: 2.99X = Bronze Award 2.98X = Silver Award 2.97X = Gold Award 2,96X = Platinum Award (Do you think anyone will ever get there?)
Award a Black PDDR T-Shirt to recipients with a car picture of the appropriate color to match the award. I am just a Rookie this year, but this is my take on the subject OPA RENNEN

I am just a Rookie this year, but this is my take on the subject OPA RENNEN Opa I'm glad to see you jumping in with some discussion on the forum. Congratulations on having an incredible break out year, especially the last two races. You've worked hard this season and I'm proud of you brother. I like your line of thinking for the Sub 3.0 levels. I would pay for my shirt if the idea is developed by the PDDR race team. Please jump in more when you want to share, would love to hear from you more on forum! I have a feeling your going to be a force to be reckoned with for a long time ;D.

Another thought!
Maybe we could have Donelson make an Icon/Avatar of a Derby Car in the colors mentioned above. The icon could be placed in our signature showing what Sub 3.0 level we have achieved. The shirts are cool but having your status on the forum is always fun!
Great idea by the way!

Found this picture this morning, it could be a cool format to build on if the idea is developed: I wish I had access to a good photo editing program or I would do the leg work. Make it smaller and add some text and it could work.

John: I remember how intimidated I was after watching the June PDDR race. Everyone was so much faster, I was tempted to not go any further. Along those lines, PDDR really needs many more "Rookies" to join the crowd, but in a way they feel great about their monthly progress. It would be nice to have 150 to 200 entrants. I have some ideas on how to entice more "newbies", but prior to any type of advertising, I suggest you create a special group, possibly called the "Rockie Class". It could be for Pure Stock only, or maybe even overall, based upon KOTH points (or both). They could still be included in each of the classes point-wise with all the other entrants, but also listed as a separate group, so they could see how they are progressing shown only with others of their group. You could even give a series of awards or recognitions based upon their progress throughout the season.

Roockie Chart: Maybe forget the rewards or trophies, just create a separate table comparing rookies and their progress. In the beginning, when I was clear at the bottom, I kept wondering where I stood comparing to other newbies, or even second year veterans. Everyone was ahead of me for three races, but I always wondered who was in their first year.
