We are building a storage box for our two lane best Track. Besides the information provided by Best track are there any lesson's learned or special way to store the track sections in the box? Thanks in advance for your help.

When we built our boxes for our 6 lane Best Track we found that having the tracks stored on their edges instead of flat made them more stable while in the box. Since the track only comes out once a year for our Pinewood Derby Race we didn't want to have to worry about the tracks "sagging" (for the lack of a better word) under their own weight while they were in storage.

Check out these links. You'll see I laid mine down flat. Added spacers only where it was track to track, when it's L channel to L channel I didn't worry about it. You'll see in the pics I made legs to keep the track in one place. Works very well, it carries everything we need for the track. www.derbytalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6134www.derbytalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5999 Scroll to bottom you'll see additional pics of finished box.
