Here's my son's, give you an idea of what the vinyl will look like before I lay it on the car. Very proud of him, he came up with the idea for the car, did most of the work besides milling the weight pockets. It's nice when they get to that age when they do most of the work, they seem to take more ownership in the car. Bad thing is when they get to that age it's time to move on to Boy Scouts Lucky for him we have a track at home. He took what the pack has been using for Class B shirts that I designed last year and made it his own for the car. Going to turn out pretty well I think. The Tribal will be Black Metallic, and the Pack 188 with be Silver Metallic.

WOW!! I like it! Being new to the graphics game, what do you mean by vinyl? Is it like using a decal? I like the shape of the car. It has a very polished look. What's with the hole over the front axle? The wheelbase looks to be longer than std. Seems liberal for a district race. (I am thinking of seeing if anyone from our pack wants to try for it next year) It's good to hear he was doing the work on the car. Shows he's been paying attention. Great sense of pride he will have collecting his trophy.

Vinyl, yes is a decal. I use CorelDraw 15. The vinyl is cut out with a plotter. Little behind the times, since everyone else in our area is printing on vinyl and can do wraps.
As for the hole, thats kind of funny. He got confused using the Derbyworx pro body tool. (Yes, this is the last year for these cheesy tools. I didn't find Jewkes till recently. The Block is on my wish list) So when he spun the tool to make the Non-DFW hole higher, he got confused on where to drill. Funny thing is the first sets of holes he did on the top side of the block were all wrong so we had to resort to the slot side again. Little mistakes but over all the car turned out well.
As for districts, we don't have a wheelbase limit. Wheels just can not extend past the car front or back.
Before the paint, tuning he has the car running 3.050 average. The car has dipped to 3.022 once. (42' Best Track)
