Congratulations -
You guys are great. You made some of the fastest cars in the history of derby racing. I hope you enjoyed the day. Once again, PDDR put on a top notch event. See you in 09.

I feel fortunate for the wins. In many of the races it could just as easily been another way. There are a lot of really talented racers at PDDR. How about the mod class for instance, tie for first place and then just a squeaker for the final run! The Super stock wasn't much different. Wins by only a few thousandths. Like I said, there are a lot of great racers here. My congratulations to Mugiver and LA. No matter how good you are, there is always going to be someone better and hungrier. I still have a lot to learn. (OK LA what axles and lube are you using and how to prep bearings from Mugiver?) BIG THANKS to the Jewkes boys and the crew who ran the races. TOP NOTCH !!

I second that. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a race in May. It was awesome. If anyone has the chance to get to a race in 09 I would jump on it. I'm hoping to get back soon.

LA thank you for the kind words but after my first year I discovered I have much more to learn. Since it's hard to take courses at Pinewood University I plan on taking the trip out to Utah next year to catch some races and hopefully learn what I can from the Jewkes brothers and yourself should you also be there. While this year was a little disappointing for me it was very fun and I wouldn't miss next year for the world! I made many new friend and that is the best part. This community is the best and a great place to race.

I attended the race live and it was as exciting as everyone has described. The food was good, too.
Congratulations to everyone who raced and especially to the winners, A-Line, LA Sound, and McGiver. Yes, I was a little disappointed that I didn't win any of the loot but I'll try again next year. (I did win the points for the year in stock so I guess that counts for something)
I enjoyed meeting Corvid Racing for the first time. He was about as excited as anybody I've seen. I think he will be a force to contend with for 2009.
Finally, thanks to the Jewkes boys for all their hard work. Their track set-up is flawless and consistant and they still keep trying to improve on it.
Keep those cars coming and I'll see you next year.
