Will this video teach me how to build a car with the BSA kit or will it tell me what I need to buy to build a car? Obviously The Block is going to be a major component of the car building but what about wheel, axles, polishing kits etc...?

The Block is key. The video shows you how to make a body. However the other information is online here and/or ask here...
The ___ video goes into wheel and axle prep for oil if you can use oil...

Does Glens video state a time the car ended up running when finished? If so how fast was it?

Does Glens video state a time the car ended up running when finished? If so how fast was it? Absolutely....Glenn always backs up his claims with PROOF! If I remember correctly, the car ran about a 2.98, which was pretty solid at the time. Keep in mind that he was using the old style wheels (3.6g) and standard graphite prep. Breaking 3.0 was still a challenge for many when this video was made, but don't worry, as the basics he shows are still valid. It's a great resource for new builders, or those wanting a more detailed/visual description on construction. Add that to the "Going Sub-3" post below, and you have plenty of info to make a great car! pddr.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=2404&page=1O.R. And it was lead poured.

O.K., For under $15.00 the video was definitely worth it. I did pick up a few things from it.
I was a little disappointed in that this was primarily dealing with the car body. The axles and wheels used were as if you were to order them polished and pre bent. I would really like to see a video on everything that wasn't covered in this one that lead to a < 3.0 car. Wheel prep, axle prep, bending the axle and tuning the car, all using the BSA kit that would be BSA legal by the rules that come in the box.
I did enjoy the video and I'm glad i bought it. I was afraid that it would be an infomercial, which it was not. I will watch it again. I would recommend this for anyone who hasn't seen it.

It is my understanding that the ___ video is for oil. I can't use oil, it is against the rules. Also, most of what I've seen posted on here the DFW is canted. In the video he drills the hole straight. Can anyone tell me what angle the pre bent axle is that he uses in the video? I've read in several places on here 1.5 down and 3 - 5 forward. I would think that a 5 deg. bent axle in a straight hole could be tuned to be just right. Would you guys agree with that? My Wolf cub was really disappointed at the Pack and District races so I told him we would build him a car that was designed strictly for speed for the Council race. The Pack race was on a Friday night and the district race was the next morning. So I didn't have time to make much improvements over night. Thanks for all the help. My wife says I'm way too obsessed with this. But man am I having fun. I tell her it's therapeutic and she just rolls her eyes.
