Move this to where it should go if necessary. I didn't see anyting about this in the shipping section, and not sure if I can post there either. I am trying to prepay the return shipping online using USPS click-and-ship. I can't select a date any farther out than 4 days as the shipping date. What are you guys doing to do the prepay return shipping? Going to the PO and buying it there? Just putting the money in with the fee (I know I can always do this)? Trying to make it easier for Glenn & David, but the government isn't helping.

I've been using the click n ship for over a year now. I just select the latest available date for the return label. Never had a problem, works like a charm.

Zeebzob, No problem with the date of shipment being past the date you select then? i would just hate to give my money to them and not have them honor the tag. TIA

I've done it a few different ways. Not exactly what you are asking for though.
I've paid in adavance to them via pay-pal. I have mailed in a check.
I usually just send in the paperwork and on that is the shipping label they cut and tape onto the box.
But You are likely right, it would be even easier to just pay for the label for them to peel and stick.

I wish they would allow you to select a date farther than 3 days out, but that's all they give you. I just want to make it as easy as possible for Glenn and I also want to make sure that I cover the shipping costs. I know that he has covered for shipping out of his own pocket from time to time, I just don't want it to be me who causes any issues.

Of course, I'll wait until tomorrow morning so I get another day on it. Oh yeah, I'm in with a super pro mod. No pics though. No worthy of any either. Thanks again.

I went ahead and prepaid and put it in the box. Figured what the heck. Now I know that IF I ever build something that is fast, I can see if I can just leave it there and save the shipping both ways - would cover the race costs easily.

you can leave your car there. most like to get them back to tune and tweak Mood, It would be Murphy's law that once I finally build one right that the USPS would lose the thing upon its return trip. If I ever get one right, it can stay there for at least an extra race. I doubt I could make it any better anyways, so might as well get all I can out of it before Mr Murphy can get his grubby little paws into the mix. ;D
