Just a note, I had planned on mailing heartburn to la's race, but my brother became very ill. It started some earlier in the week and progressed to the point they admitted him to the hospital on Friday. He was having severe headaches, neck stiffness, nausea. They did a ct scan, spinal tap and determined he has spinal meningitis. They suspect it is viral and not bacterial...which is good, but we are still waiting for the cultures to come back to run out bacterial. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

UPDATE: We received word this morning all his cultures came back negative for bacteria. It is confirmation he has viral and not bacterial meningitis. This is good news.... he will be released early evening *** *** TODAY *** ***. Since the virus will have to run its course, they are sending him home with some good drugs for his headaches. He is expected to be out of work all this week.
Thanks for your prayers and concerns.
