Thanks for trying it out. Excel does a good job of crunching numbers. If anyone wants to see something custom feel free to post or pm me...

Putting on my noob hat once again..... How do you measure the weight on just the front wheel Dom wheel ? I understand the COM determination, but have no idea how to measure how much weight in on my front wheel. Take for example. The yellow car that I have built. There is 4.08 oz on lead in the car. the wheels and axles weigh 8 to 9 grams, the rest of the weight is the body. The COM is 5/8 in front of the rear axle... Thanks Nightmare

Another use for the block!
Set the rear wheels on the block and the front wheel on the scale.
This places the rear wheels at the same height as the scale. it is not perfect but gets you close

Thank you.
I thought all you speed demon's had some slick 4 separate wheels scales, that measured the weight on all 4 wheels. ;D

How about for 1 gram 3 wheeled cars? What would that calculation be?

The chart is overall COM. I have a more detailed technique that allows you to calculate COM for a given wheel/axle/body/weight setup. So the results would be taylored for your specific car.
If folks could post what weight of axles they would like to see included. I will include weights for the various edge wheels. However I do not know the weight of EDGE awanas or EDGE holeshots...
Also if you could post various wheel bases you would like to see.
The 4 3/8 is the standard pure stock. The 5 3/4 is the longest wheelbase possible and few cars actually choose this wheelbase. Most folks back the front wheels off a tad or a lot depending on the car design...
Feel free to post or PM for things you would like included.
I am going to include 3.8, 4.0 and 4.2 ounce discs. If you want something else also let me know as well...

Thank you. I thought all you speed demon's had some slick 4 separate wheels scales, that measured the weight on all 4 wheels. ;D Nightmare I have four scales (3 working, 1 dead) from my RC Car racing days; which are slightly too big to use with these derby cars. I have two smaller scales to measure the front and rear of our derby cars.
