Cecil, Do you find that the colored wheels are of a harder material than the black wheels? Also in their stock form do they weigh the same as the black wheels? Thanks! Kenny I just went to look at the color vs black wheels again. Both feel the same. One does not feel harder than another. They both weigh the same or sometimes the colors weigh a little more 3.6grams I think the difference is in Glenn's new technique to turn the wheels, esp when we are talking 1 gram wheels. His newest wheels are faster than ever! Black, Colors... they are all equally fast. Much faster than some wheels I have from 1 year + ago. I think he just released these new wheels to everone recently. I would highly recommend.

Anybody ever try using something like this before? Does it offer any advantage or is it just smoke and mirrors. I have heard of some guys local put their wheels in the freezer to make them harder & they said it was faster; but soon wheel goes back to room temp.; as far as harden wheels on ebay can't say I think alinement & friction reduction is the 2 most important things

I treat mine with liquid nitrogen, just because I can. I call it kryo-vulcinization. I have no idea if it helps or not. I do know treated wheels stay alot cleaner than untreated wheels. I let them sit at -275 F for about 6 to 8 hrs.

I have been working on this for awhile now and it turned out perfect... the Wheels are with in .0005 - .0008 and worst case .001 which you can not tell down the hill.... The best thing about it is I have limited the waste factor... The Super Stockr's, Stockr's and HoleShots and soon the AwanOnes... the Pure Stockrs just might see the CNC, but I like the way they are right now... Glenn
