You guys call these fast cars Then you need to see one of mine. Or maybe I need to send one into your upcoming race to show you all a real mans car. To much hype and glamour online now days about selling cars that are the fastest, nicest, one of a kind's. Now is the time this show will all come to a end...
When LUMBER JACK RACING comes to your town.

Lumberjack, I must say that's some bold statements coming from a newbie to this board. Even the best known people on this and other boards don't make claims like you have. I hope you do send in a car to prove yourself and I hope you do well. However, experience tells me that someone's going to be handing you your hat as you eat those words. Best of luck to a bravely spoken man. Hyperdrive

first I will answer your first statement, You guys call these cars fast? some of them run very well with all the races that I have ran if a car on my track can ave 3.08's it will do pretty good in a cub race... To much hype and glamor on line now days about selling cars that are the fastest? you are right, there are some serious claims being made on some of these cars that do not live up... that is why we held the race... Then you need to see one of mine. Or maybe I need to send one into your upcoming race to show you all a real mans car?Now is the time this show will all come to a end...When LUMBER JACK RACING comes to your townThis reminds me of when I first came to another FORUM... let me think here, As soon as I figure out the track you are mine. I said some things that where pretty bold as well... I like that lumber Jack racing, See if you are trying to get a rise you won't because boldness is were the competition starts if we did not think that we made a fast car and believe in our selfs then there would be no reason to hold this little pinewood derby race.... the same thing about auto racing, drag racing, football, basketball, you get my point... So in an easy term that anyone can understand... as one racer to the next...As another racer told me when I first came on a forum and said some things like you have done... v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v ***BRING IT ON*** SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YA... P.S. WELCOME TO THE BOARD... 2FAST4U

I just revisited the Dec "Pure Stock" and noticed the average times for the top 6 finishers beat the average 3.084 for the top finishers of the eBay shootout! BUT - Outburst averaged 3.0427 in Dec and 3.0543 in the shoot out so if there was a sleight track difference there would be about 2 local cars who still would have beat the top eBay cars.
Hey CamCar willing to sell "Pure-A-Fire" for just over $100 on eBay? ...just kidding...

Oh, not to forget - congratulations to 17CLM for the win and to Derby Master as well!
Now the invitation - can you do as well or better with a car of your choice sent in (without a purchase) for the February race at PDDR. As I understand it, everyone is welcome to participate and in fact encouraged to do so.
February could be a great month for setting some great record times!?

OBSERVATION: The subject matter of eBay has generated nearly 1200 views and added a number of new members to the Forum in a matter of days.
Lots to be said for picking a controversial topic especially one with $$$ at stake. No doubt the eBay cars are for the most part able to win the local races against the local cub scouts and their fathers. Too bad that the claims posted for the world to read could not be backed up - "BEST" "FASTEST" - may as well claim to know which came first "chicken or egg".
So the graphite continues to fly and for us spectators - have the popcorn and soda available - GOOD SHOW!
